I know who you are now lol, in your case this is very true but from my point of view I am very pissed off that people lable me as a dole dosser as you know yourself that I give up my family home to set myself up in Stoke to concentrate on darts, fair enough, in your eyes I may not be a pro yet but in my view its what I put my time, money and energy into and what I consider is my full time occupation and do not sign on the dole!! Yes I do play a lot of poker, I have been very sucessful in casinos, online and in pub games, its a hobby that makes me money and one that I enjoy, ive always told you that and you know what im capable of on the poker table and have seen what I can do but that all goes into my darts, at the min mostly on drink when im out practising but it will pay for my next 3 years on the P.D.C circuit. Dave, I know you ain't on the dole mate I never said you were. I also won't knock you for trying your hardest to make Darts your living, in terms of taking money from PDC. I also wasn't knocking your poker if you hadn't realised mate I was saying thats how some of the money comes in because of how good you are. I've told you what I think already mate, f**k the forums and focus on your darts.

Not everybody on the dole is a bum you know?!? Some people are out of work for personal reasons not because we're dossing. I know who you are now lol, in your case this is very true but from my point of view I am very pissed off that people lable me as a dole dosser as you know yourself that I give up my family home to set myself up in Stoke to concentrate on darts Point 1 - I never said that just cos someone is out of work he is a bum so please don't put words into my mouth. Point 2 - Dave, don't pretend to know me cos you really don't! And I'm not labling you a dole dosser, in fact I'm more concerned that you are delusional about your pro darts status, I've never seen you play so can't comment on the standard of your darts, but just cos you play a lot of darts and don't work doesn't make you a pro. You said yourself that you make money from poker and darts and not ness through the circuit so surely if your a pro at anything that must make you a professional gambler? Purely an observation, and wanted to hear your opinion. I ain't gonna take the piss like the rest of your 'mates' here so if you wanna be civil and answer my questions then fine, if not thats up to you.

Not sure if I'm doing the right thing here, but had a go at tops first 60 (a few bonus d5s & d1s) then 16s (a few 8s and an odd 7) then 18s ( a few 1s and 4s) not surprised that my tops score was my ... er top score. Any advice Davey Boy, do you tend to stick at one double for the 60 darts or switch around?

Normally I have 6 darts at D20, 6 at D18, 6 at D10, 6 at D16, 6 at D8 then repeat that or even go around the board starting on D1 with 3 darts then D2, when practising it today I had 60 darts at D20 then 60 at D16 and D8.

Thinking about it, i reckon its more beneficial practice to switch as you aint ever gonna get 60 darts at tops in a game (unless your playing me ;D)

Thinking about it, i reckon its more beneficial practice to switch as you aint ever gonna get 60 darts at tops in a game (unless your playing me ;D) It is beneficial switching around the doubles, its also good for fine tuning on one area of a board throwing mutliple times at that area, when your game is better you will be throwing at a part of a target instead of just at the target itself, for example, I always like to throw my first dart at the bottom 3rd of D8 when I go for it, if I miss and the dart sits outside the wire a third from the bottom I have 2 thirds of the target above the first dart thrown and just have to go in off the first barrel, its the same with throwing for T20, I like to have my first dart land in the bottom right hand corner of the T20 to allow maximum target area to the left of my first dart.

When you're scoring do you "aim" like that with every dart or do you use the first one as sighter then rely on your natural eye for the next two?
