Never use dartpro or programmes like it as it is an added distraction to just playing, im fortunate enough that I have regular practise partners to play against and plenty of players in the pubs here that will have a game, for me playing an opponent live is better than using a darts programme and constantly watching averages etc. bullshit mate , u use no.1 game as do alot of pro's i know No I don't, downloaded it once about a year ago to have a look how it wirks but never have used it. |

serious question Dave.... What is the difference between a dole dosser, a gambler and a professional dart player? I'm confused as to where you stand as you claim you are self sufficient, how ever you certainly don't earn enough to pay the bills from genuine darts tournaments! I personally feel you need professional help and I ain't talking about from the darting fraternity. Not everybody on the dole is a bum you know?!? Some people are out of work for personal reasons not because we're dossing. However I do not agree with this presumption that because somebody isnt working means they are professional darts player. Dave for certain devotes a lot of time and energy into the game, but I've said before that doesn't make him professional. Aspiring to be professional is the term to use in the loosest sense I think. How Dave earns his income is his business really, but I will say he knows how to play poker very well and has made large quantites in the casinos around Birmigham on the poker table. I know because I've railed him, and he's been very successful on cash tables. I've got nowt else to say. I don't appreciate people sterotyping people on the dole as dossers and bums though as that's not fair on those who are unemployed who are trying to find work! |

I know who you are now lol, in your case this is very true but from my point of view I am very pissed off that people lable me as a dole dosser as you know yourself that I give up my family home to set myself up in Stoke to concentrate on darts, fair enough, in your eyes I may not be a pro yet but in my view its what I put my time, money and energy into and what I consider is my full time occupation and do not sign on the dole!! Yes I do play a lot of poker, I have been very sucessful in casinos, online and in pub games, its a hobby that makes me money and one that I enjoy, ive always told you that and you know what im capable of on the poker table and have seen what I can do but that all goes into my darts, at the min mostly on drink when im out practising but it will pay for my next 3 years on the P.D.C circuit. |

Yes I did say that after looking at it and talking to 2 players who use it on a regular basis, in my view if your playing at home and aspire to be a top player you need to be playing level 5, think from what I remember there are 6 or 7 levels. |
