He's doing quite well ,he plays a bit more than that and plays in our league on thursday nights He's had 4 county games and last weekend he played against Kent and won his match 2-0 with an average of 23.85 (first time hes played close to his best) Cant find those results either on the Berkshire website or the Kent website, I take it that your son is Ben Pardoe, I found his average vs Oxfordshire...lost 2-0 with a 14.40 average and after that lost with a 17.20 average vs Middlesex and then this game vs Kent a 2-0 win with a 23.85 average. It may have been a case of nerves in the first few games being the reason he didnt perform or just that he is practising more and getting better but also be aware that Kent have a very strong youth team with great quality players and playing against better players will make you play better on the day, he may well find in his next game he wins with a 17-18 odd average and might be disappointed with it playing a weaker team but most important thing at his age is getting the win, once he gets into that winning habbit he will improve through his confidence and he is certainly improving as it is as shown in his increasing averages over his last 3 games.
