Been practising just about every day for about six weeks now. According to DartPro my average is 34.82, that's with 135 games. I've not played against someone for about ten years I think, lol. I hope to change that soon. Highest throw has been a 160, but I didn't have DartPro running at the time, f**ksocks! Crap grouping though, despite the score. ;D I've thrown 3 140's so far. Last night I had my highest checkout at 79. I wasn't confident in getting treble 13, so I went for single 19, got the double instead. With 41 left I went for single 11, dart went into 9. Oops. But, 32 left and I hit double 16 with my final dart. I am very very crap at my doubles, and I try to get down to 40 or below before I think about checking out.

I played my first darts matches in my local club tonight.
Played 4, and won one. It was a hell of a confidence boost.
We were playing doubles to start and the guy I won against was crap at his doubles, like me, lol.
Previously, I had played against my Brother a couple of months ago, inbetween it was just practice, practice, practice at home.

Last week I played a few games in the local pub, they had a trainer board up! I played 6 games, lost 4 but won two, such a big confidence boost. Sadly, apart from only about 3 times in the local pub since my last post, I've mostly been chucking darts by myself. I've since bought a few pear and slim shaped flights and I've been experimenting with them. Currently undecided whether or not these make a difference to me. Hopeing through the DC forum to arrange a couple of meet ups with members near me for a few games. Important to me to play properly against people. Thanks

Thanks guys Met up with a member from DC's forum and played a few games, I only won one, but it was just great to play darts with someone and have a bit crack on with. Though the evening didn't start out so well! When we were just about to start the pubs Ladies darts team turned up and there was only one board, so we went to my social club, and the same thing happened! How unlucky, but there was a board in a different room so we had full use of that. I played badly, but I enjoyed it which was the main thing. Hopefully this can become a regular thing. Playing darts, not the losing lol.

Last week, I arranged another night out darting, this time with two members from dartsforum. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, I only won the one game I think, but it was fun chatting about darts and things and of course, playing! I also had a game against a regular of the social club and I beat him! Heh heh. Last night, we arranged another night but one couldn't make it, my friend and I ended up playing doubles against another two people, and we beat them, I won two of those by checking out This was doubles to start which is of course hard, but the experience was brilliant
