ok dave, BDO's not for you - yet!
I read on another forum that you've had to battle back from injury on more that one occasion.
I know cos being hit by that bread van had me off the hockey for about eight months.
Where do you think you'd be, realistically, in the rankings now if it wasn't for them injuries?

Yes this is true, I severed the tendons in my throwing hand which put me out of action for 18 months then had further problems with my hand just after joining the P.D.P.A. At the time I had the injury I was at the top of my game and was winning a lot of local comps and starting to play tournaments like the midland open, yorkshire classic, antwerp open etc and was performing well, had the injury not happened I could have seen myself up there with the best players in the world with the way things were going, I certainly feel that had it not happened i'd have made it onto a televised tournament before now. |

So would you say that you are performing somewhere near your "A" game again now? If so how do you think you will fair on the Pro tour? Better or Worse than Paul Williams?

Being as cocky and arrogant as I was back then id say id have beaten the majority of players i'd have come up against, as I don't rate Paul Williams id certainly have been confident of beating him but who knows if id have faired better than him on the pro tour, just one of them things, I will never know. I am performing near to my best at the moment and feel very confident in my game, recent tournament results have shown that im improving in tournaments and getting towards the buisness end on a regular basis which is what is needed on the pro tour and im confident I can do that on my return. |
