You should practise on all the doubles, they are all the same size and any you can hit will win the game, my best doubles are 18's 12's and 10's for hitting 1st dart. I cant really answer your question on throwing with the other hand to help the dominant eye as I myself throw from a central posistion and neither my left or right eye is dominant, I never noticed any change in focus throwing right handed myself. What a revelation by Dave Boy Green he has figured out that all the doubles are the same size. Well how many has he hit to win a major Tournament? In my opinion he is a Wanker and couldn't win a Toy at a fair ground. Everyone's allowed to make stupid comments but you're abusing the privelige. You know what Dave meant in his advice about doubles - he wasn't making any trying to reveal anything about double size. Anyway, the doubles aren't all the same size. I'll take on board his advice about practising all doubles, cos I was concentratin mostly on 3, 16 and 1 but then struggling badly with some others. ANYWAY, Dave, I'm interested to know what sort of darts you chuck. I've bought a few sets and normally find I start well then fade away, apart from a Mike Gregory set that I just couldn't get going with. Would a set of Les Wallace darts be better for a leftie? I throw a 23g set of Harrows Vortex Powerpoints 90% tungsten with alamo stems and pear dimplex flights, I shouldn't think that there are any darts that are purely suited for left handers, its a case of trial and error, finding out what you are comfortable with and throw best with. |

Oh f**k off you prick!! your the one who has hijacked this thread having digs at me, anytime ive had anything to prove I have done, firstly it was folk saying I didnt have the bottle to join the pdpa and despite problems I did, then it was not having the bollox to play kong for money and guess what?, I f**king did, those that were there that day seen that I am a more than capable dart player and despite loosing 10-5 in sets to kong, every set after 3-3 went to 3-2, in legs it would have been 21 - 16 to kong after 3-3 in sets and to take that many legs away from kong, including hitting a 170 then another big out to come from 2-1 behind in a set and win it only shows that I have ability and can mix with some of the best there is in the game. I gained a lot of respect from people who have slagged me off in the past after that game and earned the respect and friendship of Kong as a result of that game, anywhere I play people are warey of me because they know I can play and am no pushover or easy draw, Ive spent my life proving pricks like you wrong and I will do so again so carry on slagging me off, I am not in the least bit worried about some tallentless prick that hides behind a computer screen!! |

We get the chance to ask questions of a professional darts man but you're obviously too thick to get some use from it - other than give your potty mouth a good workout. TO DBG - do you get many groupies on the darts circuit or is that side of things a bit of a myth? I went to an open but most of the female spectators looked like John Walton. |
