The UK Open is one of the major events on the darts calendar with all of the World’s top players participating for a prize fund of £200k. The tournament is televised live on Sky from the 3-6th of June and is held at the Reebok stadium in Bolton.
This year, Rileys is hosting the preliminary rounds and regional finals at our 20 darts zones where 32 amateur players can win through to the above main event.
Rileys Burton will be holding 2 preliminary rounds on Saturday April 10th with the 32 survivors returning on Saturday April 17th for the regional final. All players to arrive by 11.30am for a 12 noon start
• Each tournament will be played as a best of five legs, 501 event, double finish
• It is FREE to enter – Closing Date for Entries is 31st March.
What does the regional qualifier receive?
• On the night the regional winner will receive an exclusive trophy and £100 of Rileys gift vouchers
• They also qualify to enter the UK Open against the top pro’s. They will play against the professional seeds numbered 65 to 96 in the first round.
• Survivors will go ahead to the second round against seeds ranked 33 to 64.
• Survivors beyond this stage will then play against the top 32 ranked players and will have earned £1000 in prize money.
• The further they progress, the more prize money they earn
• They will be provided with a personalised playing shirt for the UK Open
• All regional winners will be provided with accommodation at a nearby hotel for the duration of their involvement in the tournament.
• All winners will receive a buffet reception upon arrival at the stadium
