Taylor should have an easy time playing part and make another final. Can see the other semi going to the last leg and barney snatching it. The man seems to be liking these new darts and it should be another classic battle with wade

If Part plays the way he has been, it's going to be far from easy for Phil Taylor. I can see Taylor going through obviously, but I reckon he'll know he was in a battle. I can also see Barney having the same sort of match with Wade, but coming through in the end.
Which would lead to Taylor winning another tourney.

Phil Taylor is throwing ridiculously good darts at the moment. It's them kind of darts that are completely unplayable for anyone else in darts.

This was good untill now, and Barney is now just chucking his darts into the board now. It's as if he's conceded defeat.

Oh man, that was a final and a half.
Agree with that point on Barney though. He conceded that at 10-7. What the hell ? Thankfully the fans gave him stick for it and he woke up a bit.

Might be worth going onto Sky Sports News if you missed Barney's post-match speech. I missed it, but I can understand now what happened on that stage.
Basically, he's been battling depression for a couple of months. That's going to be playing all sorts of stuff with his head, and throwing a strop on stage will be the least of his worries at the moment if he can't get it sorted. Probably would have been better for him not to play at the tournament.
It actually sounded like parts of a retirement speech. That's how messed up it was. Surely has to consider dropping from the World Matchplay as this could turn out to be serious for him if it's not adressed.

well i was also disgusted with barney's play in middle of the match, after he took the lead the taylor came back at him he just lost the plot, really shocked to have witnessed it,  i am a big fan of barney, but... he needs his head sorted..... quickly  |

why did barny give up in couple of games he was matching taylor. when he took the mic and told phil he was the best i thought whats he on or phil is sending him to the looney hospital, the guy aint right needs help  |

It was after the Wade match he mentioned the depression stuff if I recall correctly, but he seemed to be pretty confident. Then again, I'd be confident considering how badly he massacred everyone untill Taylor.
Considering his Twilight Zone speech about Taylor, I'm not sure if his head was in the right place. The good news is that after the World Matchplay, he should have plenty of time to get his head into a better place. I've seen Barney in worse positions than he was in on Sunday and he's dealt with it better than that. It's not like these strops are common place in Barney matches.
I still can't be arsed updating that table. I'll probably do it after the next tournament. I can't remember if there's a Players' Championship this weekend.

i fancied barney for the win to be honest thought he played better than taylor through tournament. I thought part played well untill he met taylor. cmon barney 2 weeks time dont give in
