Priestley having another good day, could well be Thornton vs Priestley in the final again today, nice to see Lionel Sams showing some form and also a respectable run from N.Irelands Colin McGarry having had to win 4 games to get into the last 16 and beat some class players today.

pretty good weekend for Anastasia Dobromyslova, maybe she isn't just in the pdc as a PR exercise as a lot of folk think

I think its hard for some of the players having to play Anastasia and adds pressure on those players because of all the attention she is getting and also that they dont want to loose to her but I think that when the players get used to playing against her she will have a tough time of it but fair play to her on the scalps she took this weekend, Mcdine and Honey both players that are hard to beat and almost beating Webster as well, 8 darts missed to win the match.
Well done Thornton, think he has climbed up to 19th or 20th in the order of merit on the back of this weekends results and great to see Priestley getting to the final both days which I think brings him up to 10th in the order of merit.

Good weekend for Robert Thornton and he's had a brilliant year so far. I don't think it's going to be too long before he takes a major.

domdom I would also say that Thornton has a great chance to win a major at the moment, if only Taylor could get knocked early on them.

The best chance of Taylor being knocked out is early in a major with a shorter format. We seen Andy Jenkins shock him in the shorter format thanks to some good finishing.
Robert Thornton is also the only one who has shown great fight against Taylor recently. Twice in recent months ( European and Players ) he has gone out there and given his all, and Taylor certainly never walked over him on either occaision. Maybe one day, he could beat him.
