Not necessarily, anyone can play in these opens and as Wes hasn't qualified for the Players Championships this weekend he is free to play where he wants. He played in the PDC events over in Gibraltar so I can't believe he's paid his 12 month subscription (600 squids I think) if he's not going to be playing in their events.

Gary mawson, Darrin Young and David Fatum also played, Wes and Fatum won the doubles as well!!
