Good luck with the site and getting back on circuit DBG!
Would be cool if he could make it that you click on pictures of darts for the links to come up.
Remind us when it's fully functional, I'm a forgetful bugger.

No Dis-respect intended Dave, But who are you and why would someone sponsor you ? Have you achieved anything in the game worth mentioning ?
What could any potential sponsors hope to get from you ?

You obviously dont spend a lot of your time flicking through the dart forums or you wouldnt be asking that question ;D As far as achievements, nothing on the world stage yet but have aspirations of playing in televised events, I have played in the P.D.C but more recently its been open tournaments, couple of wins in smaller events last year, good runs in Cheshire open and St Helens last year, 3 weeks ago got to the last 16 both days in Birmingham and Wolverhampton and im starting to show a bit of form in my game.

hmmmm, so lets say i or a business partner wanted to advertise something. and rather than pay a tv station money to have an advert, or a radio station money to advertise our product we thought the best option would be to get a well known darts player who is going to appear on tv to advertise our product. lets say we were offering £10,000 for the year. the players we had in mind for arguments sake were robbie green, jason clark, dave chisnall and yourself. the first 3 players would be viable options of getting us tv coverage for our initial £10,000 outlay. where as you have never played on tv. do you think you warrant a sponsorship when your claim to fame is a darts forum big-shot ?
will posts on a darts forum by you get me and my business partners product on the tv ?

That is the chance you take when you sponsor someone, you don't know if the other 3 players will get you any exposure either. The one thing with Dave is that he is famous / infamous (take your pick) and if he does pull his finger out and gets a few results he will cause a stir and be noticed.

I would not say he is famous / infamous. ouside of a darts forum where is the advertisement going to come from. i may as well pay the owner of the website to advertise the product. nobdy in their right mind would sponsor an unknown player. after david saying had i not heard of him i checked a few darting forums and found he recently averaged less than 70 in a 5-0 defeat at the hands of robbie greene. in 1 of the legs he hit scores of 22 22 60 and 22 in 4 consecutive throws. i dont feel these are results or scores that would have a potential sponsor happy with there investment in such a talent / talentless indivdual. i will see what else i can find out on the dart forums of david green to warrant his request for sponsor. maybe this was just a 1 off result against robbie ? im guessing it was as david says he has played on the pdc tour before. let me go and check out some of his results and return to this forum later.
