are wade and others limiting themselves by sticking to standard flights? fair enough, he aint doin too bad by them but even the bottler has switched down to pears. my personal thinking is that a few of the top players could improve their games by switching down to pears if not slim.
another thought, a lot of people play with standard points, are they missing a trick by not playing with longer points, my thinking again is that this would give them another improvement by making the target(60) less impaired by other barrels?

Mmmm good point prodigal, however, I'd imagine they all try these different innovations in their practice. Surely if you spend your "working week" practicing you'd know what suits you best by the time you go up on stage. Maybe Kong would be best placed to answer this question though.

yeah, you'd imagine they would if they were all model pros, they aren't though, look at the likes of lloyd advocating exercise and doing interviews in the pool with chamberlain, is common sense to look after yourself but a lot aren't interested, prefer to have beer bellies, yellow hands and plod on...

True enough, although in Lloydy's case he has just been diagnosed diabetic and I know he is looking after himself (now drinks slimline tonic with his treble vodkas)
