The crowd are really being unsportsmanlike and just there for a booze up. Disgraceful crowd, an absolute disgrace, there's a group on the left hand side who are ruining what should be a great night of darts.
I'm also angry with Mardle just slapping the darts in, as if they don't matter.
Sorry. Rant over.

If that's why they turned up, then it's their money. There's nothing wrong with it.

I think the song between breaks is the reason why many go, and not for the darts, I think the song is getting a bit boring now to be honest.
If you like to go to the darts, you are obviously a fan of the game, so booing is just plain wrong, fans are disrespecting themselves by going.

I've been the same so know what it's like. I was annoyed with the way they acted in the match before Taylor's, but what can you do ? They paid their money to get in there and can act in exactly any way that they see fit, so long as it doesn't push the boundaries of getting chucked out. You actually think this ? Seriously ?

You actually think this ? Seriously ? I am using it as a reference to the fans, they want to have fun by drinking and shouting and singing. Look at them today, shouting Jesus, and then Happy Birthday as a match is going on, they were not even absorbed by the game, which was quite good for a preliminary match. If Taylor was playing, it would be real quiet when he is throwing.

I've actually found the crowd can be quite noisy for Taylor throwing. They're the polar opposite of a BDO crowd, which is both good and bad. The good is that, as a viewer on TV, the molten hot crowd can help get into the big matches. Outside of the prelim matches, and the match that was on before Taylor, the crowd have been pretty hot throughout. I like that.
The bad being the sort of thing you're talking about, although in saying that, I was delighted when they booed those two mugs in the first prelim game, as all I could think was "I've played better than that". Frustrating as hell to watch and the only relief I got was the crowd booing.
Plus, a bunch of drunks singing "happy birthday" to someone when something more important is going on ? Who'da thunk it ? You can bet the crowd would have done the same during a Taylor match if they found out it was someone's birthday.
The bastards.
