darts has become big betting in recent years and with that comes great temptations
during a major final in 2007 i had a crazy thought, if you were 3-0 up and playing awesome and the price on your opponent was out at 10/1 would you then bet against yourself and allow your opponent back into the the match by playing well but just missing 1 or 2 doubles at crucial times and therefore picking up more money by losing the tourney/match.
since darts is an individual sport and everyone has a bad day it would be like tennis and very hard to prove you had fixed the result
do you think the day will come when the Chinese start fixing matches??

I know it has gone on in the past, there was one particularly famous game where two good friends were playing at the Lakeside. At the time they were both priced 5/6 on the original book. One player was backed into 1/10 by the time the game started (I was in on this and had £500 ish on at the time). The match itself was crap with both players averaging around 70, but the lad I'd backed won 3-1. Not going to say who the players were on here but PM me if you want to know.

I have a crazy dart thought, why the fook did I punch the wall after winning last friday, my hand is still killing me, could see the point if I had lost, but I won
