First off when you get dartpro, you will not be able to host a server.
You can only join people who are running servers.
Most people try and run dartpro as a client or server, and then find people can't join them, or they can't join anybody else, this is due to the person running the server not having port 47141 open on the modem-router and firewall.
Ok here goes
Setting up a server
First off, click on Remote501 at the top.
Then set your user name, and click next.
Click Act as Server, and click next.
Select public sever, and click next.
Select Everybody can connect, and click next.
Now click finish, it may take a few moments for your server to come online.
This is what it will look like when setup, and someone has joined your server.
To talk to the pearson who has joined, you can type in the box on the lower right, you have to click send, as pressing enter does not work.
To start a game, click new game.
You can then setup the number of legs, sets and who goes first.
Playing as a client
To join a game, click on Remote 501 at the top.
Then set your username, and click next.
Click Act as Client, and next.
Next make sure Encrypted IP is selected, and click Who's online.
This will open up a webpage, this will show the players, be aware that some of these will also be clients, and you will not be able to join there game, this is were a lot of people have problems.
Click on the name of the player you want to play.
You will then be asked to access your clipboard, you need to allow access.
If you then click back on dartpro, you will then notice there are a string of numbers in the box, you then need to click next.
Then click finish
This is what it will look like when you connect to the server.
I hope this is of some help to you, and if anybody thinks anything should be added please tell me, and I will edit if needed.
