have done so so many posts on this forum and others about dartitis but now im just sick of it. I used to love the game and i was a prety decent player but now i cant even grip the dart properly my throwing action now is awfull and i keep hitting my wall because of a huge snatch that regularly occurs in my throw. iv taken so many breaks and tried everything from throwing matchsticks to mind training I dont even enjoy anything about the game anymore and i dont even know why i put myself through hell trying to practice each day. Everyone has told me not to quit and it will get better , but in just under a year nothing has happened and iv lost my accuracy If anyone could give me any last pieces of advice before i consider packing in the game id be greatfull.

FIRST OF ALL; Sorry for my bad English, I’m from Norway I have a few tips I had the same problem my self. I was in the top of my national league, then everything started to go wrong. I practice 2-3 hour's every day, and everything still went wrong. I Decided to give it a last ”shot”, and try harder then ever. This is what i did/does still to improve my game: 1. Go to sleep early, get a good rest. you need that to be able to concentrate 100% on your game, when you practice. 2. Try to enjoy the game, and the practise. 3. Play 501/301, until you get your scoring back. 4. Concentrate on every single darts, when it goes bad, don’t just throw the darts away in the board, YOU HAVE TO STAY FOCUS. 5. Try to be positive, it helps…over time. 6. Try to throw with a little bit rhythm, it sounds like you throw very slow. 7. Don't take long breaks, max 2 days. These are just my tips, they work for me.
