i would have to disagree with the technique part of this, this may or may not surprise people, but i think the 3 part lever release carry on is pish www.dartbase.com/frames.php3?x=technics.htmthe guy goes on about following the parabola, in my mind that makes your release hit or miss. if you simply use your jointage to try and release the dart in a straight line, it will still have a parabolic flight to its target but you also have a larger margin for error on release, comprende?

i think i see where your coming from if i get this right the dartbase advice is more akin to a looping throw or trajectory of the dart however what is being proposed by snarf is a flatter release or rather a direct A -> C route rather than ...............->->C ->->........... A -> ->->..................->->-> B if that makes sense and for the record i agree with snarf as i throw a flat dart and have always tried to

i think people try too hard to make themselves better. when you have the right darts just practice practice and more practice.thats what i done and get drunk off coarse.

I agree craig, just chuck your dart however feels best and usually it'll be the overall best shot for you....unless you've had a bit too much of the falling over juice.
