Adrian Lewis - I just don't get it, the guy is so prodigiously talented at this game yet never seems to win anything. Surely it can't be down to nerves or he'd never have shown us the flashes of brilliance (see 1/4 final in Blackpool against Barney last year). This Championship league thing was the most glaring example, he played in the final 6 groups and made 3 semis & 3 finals, yet didnt win any of them and so didnt qualify.
I know I've been known to joke about it, but I as much as anyone, would love to see the lad pull his finger out and win something soon. I'm sure that if he could cross that initial bridge, more and more would follow. When he's on his mettle he can fire in 4/5 legs sub 12 darts but then seems to follow it with a piss poor effort in the next round.
I'm going to see him in exhibition with Al & Gav in December. Anyone got any advice that we can pass on to the lad? ;D
(Message for Gav - Are ye picking me up on the way through love?)

Don't think he's helped by the media "Future World Champ" bollox either.

I think youth and a bit of arrogance are the reason, I think he thinks he will win and therefore puts pressure on himself when he should just play the game and see what happens.

He should be experienced enough now not to let that affect his game ...... but what we get is an average 20 points lower than in the 1/4 final :-( Hopefully he scrapes through here and shows us the "Super Loowis" in the final against The Pooooooooahhhhh

He was a little tired in the final, and Taylor was too strong, Taylor is just unbeatable in that form.
