With the world championships fast aproaching for both the B.D.O and the P.D.C who do you think will be the surprise players this time around?

Depends what you mean by "surprise" really fella, but as for players who will be a big price to do well I'll go as follows........
PDC: Alot depends on the draw (avoiding Taylor more specifically) but the unheralded players I see doing well this time would have to be Alan Tabern & Tez (The Return of The Tash) I know both players are hardly unknown but I'm sure both can be backed at 40/1 and bigger to win it.
BDO: Ross the Boss has to be a good bet (assuming he's qualified) and I know I speak for almost every member on here in saying that we'd all love to see Robbie "Cuddles" Green holding the trophy at the Lakeside.(assuming he's won it fair and square and not just nicked it ;D)

pdc well must admit i whould like to see tabern or king have a good run but i think taylor is a runaway winner
bdo i whould love to see kong win lakeside but my moneys on Scott Waites hes a form player and can be a handful for any player on his day

Must admit don't know too much about the BDO guys other than the main ones who get mentioned. Hope that Kong does well though. Toolbag guys will be right behind him I'm sure.
PDC - Tabern is definately one who has been showing some form on the tv and could get to the semis depending on draw. I think Lewis will flatter to deceive again and win Snakey a few bob in the process. Fancy Klaasen to do well for some reason.

No doubt about it i'm going for " THE BOSS " good luck ross... yip, we all know taylor is on great form, and don't doubt for a minute that he would'nt make the final (again), but would love to ade lewis there with him, jist hope the draw is kind to him this year.... good luck to ade as well....

hes the most talented in the tourney (except maybe john) but i dont expect him to qualify from it unless theres more than 1 qualifier needed in the end

Lewis has got it tough in the GSOD . on his board - Ronnie Baxter, Mark Dudbridge , Adrian Gray , Dennis Smith & Wayne Jones what a board that is!!

seen that whoever gets through that board should atleast get to the final
theres some boards where theres not a top known player from either side so someone has a chance to make a name for themselves and get maybe to a semi
