Well, I reckon you're right about Painter and King, due to the form that Painter has shown recently. Anyways, my predictions ... James Wade v Andy HamiltonPhil Taylor v Dennis Priestley Adrian Lewis v Peter ManleyJohn Part v Jelle KlaasenWes Newton v Gary Anderson Raymond van Barneveld v Co Stompe Terry Jenkins v Colin Lloyd Mervyn King v Kevin PainterA couple there that I didn't want to predict. Manley and Lewis will be a cracker and could go either way, and the same for Newton and Anderson. I'm not sure on Hamilton vs. Wade after how Wade played last night, but we know he can turn it on.

Tbh I have priced all three games 5/6 each of 2 and the bookies make Lloyd, Painter & Part odds against.

Painter is definately worth a bet with that being the case. I just don't think Mervyn King has the game to step it up to deal with a form player.

Lewis is inconsistant. If he plays like he did last night ( scoring wise at least ), he'll struggle to contain Manley, who managed to beat a Mark Walsh who didn't play too badly himself. Lewis is absolutely vicious when it comes to big finishes though, no matter what sort of form he's on, but looking at Manley's finishing last night, he's not so bad at it himself. Five of his finishes were over the 60 mark. I guess it just depends on what Lewis turns up, but if last night is anything to go by, I reckon Manley can deal with him. You're probably right about Newton and Anderon. I have no earthly idea who's going to win that one. Same goes for Wade and Hamilton. I can't see Wade playing that way two nights in a row though thinking about it. I'm going to stick with my original prediction though. Would be nice to say I called the Wade elimination.

How awesome was John Part ? It's not even as if Jelle Klaasen played badly either. Part scored and finished like a champion should be. Absolutely delighted to see him playing like that. Not delighted with Peter Manley though. Poor, poor match from him, although I don't think it would have mattered, as Lewis stepped things up in a major way, and he actually looked like a potential tournament winner tonight. Superb darts. He should be fine against Wade if he plays like that against him. Wade wasn't bad at all. Didn't think he was overly amazing though. Hamilton didn't really push him. Epic bottle crash from Newton. Came onto a game far too late. Anderson played well, but he's going to have to step it up against Taylor, who, while not on world record form, is on consistant finishing and scoring form, which is good enough. Anderson is capable of beating Taylor. We all know that. He won't though. I'm actually quite annoyed by the Part match. Who seen that one coming ?!?! Really should have seen the Wade win coming. I actually did as I said earlier, but as I also said earlier, that'd have been a belter of a one to get right. The Newton/Anderson one I'm not bothered about. Had to pick someone ... should have just stuck with no prediction. Manley was just dire,m but that wouldn't have mattered. Lewis sure as hell made mincemeat of that prediction. Potential winner of the tournament ? He's finishing and scoring with great ease at the moment. Had a good UK Open for predictions too. This tourney has been a feckin' disaster.
