4-0 up in the final against Mark "Walshie" Walsh (great nickname that) ........ countless darts to win it and gets beat.
When was the last time Barney won a tournament? Has his bottle gone?
What say you kids?

It's not his bottle that's gone. It's the amazing talent that he used to have.
Mark Walsh probably stepped things up and did enough. As for Barney, he isn't what he used to be.

4-0 up in the final against Mark "Walshie" Walsh (great nickname that) ........ What say you kids? Took him ages to think that nickname up!!!!! Barney is just going through a rough patch at the moment, maybe he doesn't have the hunger anymore, maybe psychologically he knows he has nothing else to achieve in the game after beating Taylor in the World Champs.........

Personally i think he looked rough, played rough on thursday night there so i'm not surprised to hear he lost a four nil lead.I like big barney so i really hope he gets his act together and starts to get it right

i think a big part of barneys troubles at the moment is travel he is traveling far to much when it whoud be easyer for him to relocate to the uk i mean when barney was in the bdo he was lucky if he was over here more than 6 times a year since he moved to the pdc the travel has been an issue its the same deal with john part

Tbh he was travelling more when he was winning everything so I can't buy it. Don't get me wrong I'd love for him to be back near his best again and challenging Wade and Taylor (and maybe Ganderson soon)
I just remember when I never used to think he'd miss a double and checkouts from 90-120 were a near certainty.... I just don't get that feeiling anymore. I think Mr Milligan is closest to the mark tbh.

Its a shame Barney isn't playing like he can and has done. He isn't my favourite player but I must admit I like watching him play when he is in form, but im not sure about the travelling. Does he travel more than say John Part who lives in Canada? ;D

i reckon barney has become a victim of his own success. when he 1st joined the pdc he was the main rival for taylor. before barney arrived in the pdc nobody really challenged taylor the way barney did. i reckon the way barney played in his 1st year made other players realise that taylor can be beat which has resulted in the other players realising that they had to up their game and it has put pressure on taylor and barney. taylor is back to his winning ways and i hope barney gets back to his too.
