went through all that and it still wont work. does it make any difference at all that im on a wireless connection?

Depends if you have more than one pc, or xbox etc connected to the router e.g my ip for pc ends 02, but my laptop I use for dartpro ends 03.
If you wish to know your ip, and your on xp (i'm not sure if it's the same for vista, as I have never used it) go to start, then run, and type cmd, a black box will pop up, in there type ipconfig/all, it will then show you your ip address, if you have more than one pc, do it on the one that you wish to use for dartpro.

went through all that and it still wont work. does it make any difference at all that im on a wireless connection? from the ones ive set up it hasnt made any difference as to whether they have been wireless tbh if you want help sorting it pm me but can i just ask that first you double check you have implicitly followed the instructions i listed on the link as this method is proven to work 4 times, wireless/wired vista or earlier operating systems all included

it doesnt say any make or model on mine fukin' ntl/virgin What i have read i don't think you have a router just a modem connected directly to your PC so it could be internet security software causing the problem ie zonealarm or norton internet security. If so you have allow dartPro through these type of programs. Hope this helps
